If that doesn't work for you I found a program, it more of an add-on in my opinion to explore. However it is very light on features, and will display a prompt if a feature is selected that isnt available in the Lite version. My Favorite feature is tab bars it really helps when I have to dig into the windows file system and find a folder that some down below. XYplorer Alternatives 1 Directory Opus 2 Xplorer 3 FreeCommander 4 Avanquest Powerdesk Pro 9 5 Commander One 6 QTTabBar 7 Far Manager 8 WinFile. A free version of the program is available, xplorer² lite. It is a complex application that allows tabbed browsing, file search, customizing options, and. The only down side that I see is that you are learning about to use the program, and it does work with windows. XYplorer might look like a simplified version of the original. I could easily spend a full week getting everything to my liking. I was in the same boat, I didn't like explore very much because their is just thing that are just too limited to do, I did go to Directory Opus: and I really like that because I could arrange thing my way and had it setup to fit my needs more better. ![]()
